Reverse Chucking Jig
Reverse chucking jig for completing the lower portion and bottom of bowls and vessels. Often referred to as a compression or friction type chuck. Work is trapped soundly between the jig and the tailstock center. Also useful for re-turning the tenon of a roughed out bowl or vessel to remount into a scroll type chuck. Works equally well on natural edged bowls and flat rimmed bowls.
