A rigid, heavy duty scraper ground for bowl work.  Width is 1.25", thickness is 5/16", in an unhandled version.
A wonderful tool from Hamlet of Sheffield England made from M2 high speed steel. The shape of the edge is perfect for many bowl applications: straight section, then breaks into a radius edge on the left side of the tool.   I recommend turning a handle of 16" to 17" in length for this tool.   See my site for making handles:  www.alanlacer.com   under "Articles."
