An amazing jig system for accurately drilling angles on spindles and face work  (such as stool seats).  It requires an indexing head lathe and a 1" stem banjo/tool rest base.  Drill and lathe not included. 
This jig system serves as an alternative to constructing angle jigs for drilling turned legs and turned stools seats.  With an indexing lathe head and a tool rest base that accepts the 1" stem, the process is very accurate and repeatable.   Best done with a corded type drill.  The stem is of a length to work on lathes with a swing of 24", but the stem is easily shortened with a standard hacksaw to adapt to lathes with smaller swings--the drilling needs to be done at the lathe's spindle centerline.
