If you like the feel of wood for a quick change interchangeable tool system this is a great alternative. Most systems use a metal handle, usually straight, often covered by hard plastic or rubber. This Robust collet system allows you to make a handle to your dimensions for round shank woodturning tools. The package comes with seven parts as seen in the photo: end cap piece (if you desire to drill out the end of your tool handle and insert lead shot), a stainless steel ferrule, collet holder and four collets to take round shank tools in these diameters: 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" and 5/8".
