One of the very best chucks on the market today is the Oneway Stronghold. This chuck revolutionized woodturner's chucks by using a key rather than two bars, an interchangeable insert (to use on different lathes, rather than using a threaded body), high precision machining and higher wear steel on moving parts.
This is also a first: to buy only the body and not an entire chuck, allowing different jaws rather than changing jaws for different operations. You do get the chuck body, Allen wrench for changing jaws , key and the threaded insert. What is missing: the worm screw and a set of Jaws.
