A large bowl gouge from Hamlet of Sheffield England. It is called a 3/4" in the British system, 7/8" in the North American system. The overall length is 11 1/2" with a 6" flute. The end is turned down to 1/2" diameter to fit interchangeable handles such as the Oneway 17 1/2" version one this web site. The edge shape is straight across and easily converted to a fingernail or Irish grind as you prefer.
