Hamlet 3/8" Bowl Gouge Handled (1/2" d rod)

The Hamlet 3/8" bowl gouge from a 1/2" rod.  This gouge is called a 3/8" in the English system, 1/2" in the North American system.  This is a great size for smaller lathes or for detailing on large bowls.  Made from M2 HSS.  The end is a traditional British shape, straight across, 45 degree bevel angle.  This is easily  modified to a fingernail or Irish grind.
