This is a wonderful small handle for all of your 3/8" diameter round-shank turning tools. The overall length is just over 9". It will also take some flat tang tools but it will be a question of testing to fit (for example, my 1/4" parting tool will fit into this size of hole).
What I like about these handles over some others is that the steel core is covered with a softer rubber than many others on the market--gives a better feel to the tool in my opinion.
